Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Crusade of the Forgotten is a Hero and Monster Collection expansion for 2–5 players, with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. Released in 2014, it brings a renewed cult, four noble heroes, three monster groups, and two new quests to Terrinoth.

The cult of the Forgotten has risen once more, and Terrinoth’s finest must stand against it. This expansion tells the story of the heroes’ battle against the resurgent cult through the quests Crusade of the Forgotten and Shadowside Watch.

Four heroes are ready to become a light to the people of Terrinoth: Tahlia, Tetherys, Astarra, and Andira Runehand. Each is represented by a detailed figure and supported by a character sheet, giving players new noble champions to bring into their Descent adventures.

Opposing them are some of the overlord’s most evil servants. The cult of the Forgotten commands three complete monster groups featuring golems, medusae, and sorcerers, each supplied with monster cards.
