About this expansion

Neuroshima Hex! 3.0: Sharrash is a 2–4 player board game with a playing time of around 30 minutes, released in 2013. It introduces a mysterious, organized community of mutant rats whose inhuman intelligence helps them defend their underground nests.

The Sharrash live in the tunnels and canals of destroyed cities, alongside degenerate humans and mutants who serve them. They allow no strangers near their territory, and their fighters will fiercely protect the pack—even at the cost of their own lives.

This army combines several distinctive advantages. Its mobile HQ can change position, while Sharrash can blow up even the fastest enemy units and paralyze slower ones. Their mortars can bypass enemy defense lines, creating threats from unexpected directions.

  • Mobile HQ: reposition your command center as the battle develops.
  • Explosive attacks: destroy even fast enemy units.
  • Paralyzing effects: hinder slower opposing units.
  • Mortars: bypass defensive lines.
  • Hole Foundation Tile: a difficult-to-eliminate feature that can thwart enemy plans.

Sharrash also has clear weaknesses. The army brings fewer fighting units than other armies, and its forces have low mobility, low toughness, and low initiative. It also has a complete lack of armor, leaving careful use of its special abilities especially important.

In Neuroshima Hex! 3.0: Sharrash, success comes from combining disruption, mobility, and unconventional attacks with the protection of a hard-to-remove Foundation Tile. It is a distinctive force built around clever positioning and fierce defense.
