Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon – Red Death Expansion is an expert-level add-on campaign for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 120 minutes. Designed to follow any of the other three large campaigns, it sends favorite heroes on a one-way mission from Avalon into the mysterious Homelands.

After weeks spent crossing the mists between worlds, the heroes reach Homelands many years after the plague. Desolated cities conceal answers to questions about the disease, Arthur’s knowledge of the island of Fore-dwellers, and the secrets he left behind. Whether it is safe to return is only one of the mysteries waiting in the ruins.

The campaign includes 32 dangerous Location cards covering a kingdom ravaged by plague. Ancient Fomoria surveys the abandoned lands, while disease-resistant Picts raid the ruins for treasure, magic, and something more sinister. Solitary survivors may also offer vital knowledge, although many are mad and dangerous.

Choose allies and enemies carefully as you navigate a world where unspeakable horrors are not the only threat. The Red Death Expansion extends character progression with Advanced Abilities that allow Attributes to be upgraded further, while potent discoveries in Homelands offer rewards beyond anything found on Avalon.

Survive this final mission, and the revelations of Red Death can place the main storylines of all three campaigns in a new light.
