About this expansion
Neuroshima Hex! 3.0: Dancer is an army pack for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2012, it adds a completely new challenge to the Neuroshima Hex experience.
The Moloch attack on Omega had unexpected consequences. Damage to the facility freed three strange creatures created in a secret genetic research project code-named Dancer. Now half-mad and unable to control their instincts, they fight for survival in the post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Dancer stands apart from conventional Neuroshima Hex armies through its highly unusual design. Rather than relying on unit tiles, this army uses a set of action tiles to shape the battle and create its distinctive style of play.
- Three HQ tiles form the core of the army.
- There are no unit tiles in the army.
- Every other tile is an action tile, including Move, Push back, and Battle tiles.
This unusual structure makes Dancer one of the most original and strange designs ever created for Neuroshima Hex. It offers experienced players a fresh perspective on the game’s tactical tile system and presents a new way to approach conflict on the battlefield.
Neuroshima Hex! The Dancer was the second army pack in a series of mini game expansions, each containing one Neuroshima Hex army. The army was created by Rustan Håkansson of Sweden, a hardcore fan known worldwide for his fan armies published on BoardGameGeek.
Dancer was first published as a PDF on BoardGameGeek and quickly became popular. With its three HQs, creature-driven theme, and action-only tile selection, it is a memorable addition for players seeking a markedly different Neuroshima Hex army.
