About this expansion

Ecos: New Horizon is a 2021 board game for 2-6 players, with games lasting about 75 minutes. Players develop an expanding continent while building an ecosystem filled with distinctive landscapes and growing animal populations.

This edition adds iconic features to the developing world, including Kilimanjaro, the Sahara, and the Serengeti. Each landscape brings a unique interaction with the ecosystem, creating effects that influence the choices of every player throughout the game.

New Horizon introduces a new card mechanic for playing landscape features. The changing continent can challenge carefully prepared plans: the creeping expansion of the Sahara may affect how the ecosystem develops, while the deep jungle of the Congo Basin can offer a different direction for your decisions.

More animals also join the growing world, increasing the population of the ecosystem. From Nile Crocodiles to herds of Zebra, these additions give the continent more life as players shape its development.
