Ecos: First Continent

About this board game

Ecos: First Continent is a simultaneous gameplay board game for 2–6 players, with sessions lasting about 75 minutes. Players take the role of forces of nature, each pursuing a different vision for the formation and grandeur of a new world.

Each round, one player reveals element tokens from the element bag. Every player can use the revealed elements to complete a card from their tableau, helping shape the continent according to their own purpose. This shared rhythm keeps everyone involved while the world develops.

The continent can include a wide variety of landscapes, habitats, and species. Players may bring together features such as:

• Mountain ranges and jungle
• Rivers, seas, and islands
• Savanna and its associated fauna

Elements that do not fit your immediate plans remain useful. You can convert them into energy cubes, take additional cards into your hand, or add them to your tableau to create greater options as the game evolves. These choices let each player develop their own approach to shaping the emerging world.

With its competing visions and shared element reveals, Ecos: First Continent presents a world-building experience where the landscapes, habitats, and species that thrive are determined by the players. The result is a continent that may resemble our own Earth, while developing in an entirely different direction.
