Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor – Arch-Nemesis Expansion is an expansion for 1–4 players with an approximately 240-minute play time, released in 2021. It adds four new races and four super-huge endbosses to the game.

The expansion introduces the Tua Than, Hokqan, Ytuma, and Renegade Legion races. These additions broaden the forces present in the world of Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor.

At the heart of the expansion are four powerful Arch-Nemeses. Two serve the Empire, while the other two belong to Chaos:

• The Drakoliche — an Arch-Nemesis for the Empire
• The Empress — an Arch-Nemesis for the Empire
• The Kraken — an Arch-Nemesis for Chaos
• The Harvester — an Arch-Nemesis for Chaos

These super-huge endbosses replace the usual Hordes and Legions during your last Chapter. Their arrival changes what awaits at the end of the game and gives the final chapter a new focus.

But the Arch-Nemeses do not simply appear without warning. The expansion asks how they get there, with the answer revealed by reading the Omens. These Omens determine what the future holds as the final chapter approaches.
