About this expansion

Tragedy Looper: Midnight Circle is an expansion for 2–4 players with an approximately 120-minute play time, released in 2015. It expands the international version of Tragedy Looper with new scripts and four all-new characters.

The expansion includes material previously released in the Japanese booklet expansions Midnight Zone and Mystery Circle, along with additional content for the Tragedy Looper experience. Across its contents are three Basic Tragedy scripts similar to those found in the base game and nine scripts from the two booklet expansions.

• Four new characters: Forensic, Illusion, A.I. and Scientist.
• Three Basic Tragedy scripts: scenarios designed in the style of those in the base game.
• Nine additional scripts: drawn from the Midnight Zone and Mystery Circle Tragedy Sets.

In Midnight Zone, players must be careful about believing everything they hear, because lies are widespread. This setting makes uncertainty a central part of the experience as players work through its tragedies.

Mystery Circle takes a different approach. All supernatural elements have been removed, leaving players to rely only on logic and deduction. Together, these two collections provide contrasting types of mystery within one expansion.
