About this expansion
Ganymede: Moon is a board game for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 40 minutes. Released in 2019, it expands each player board with two new locations: the Moon on the left and the Ganymede Council Chamber on the right.
The Council Chamber introduces sixteen councilors, each offering a unique ability available only to the player who holds that councilor. You can transport councilors to the chamber during play, creating new opportunities as you build your personal collection of influential characters.
- Sixteen councilors are included in the game.
- Every councilor has a unique ability for its owner.
- Each councilor is worth victory points.
- Every player can claim four councilors during play.
Each councilor contributes to your score, with values varying by character. For example, Marty Simon is worth 1 VP and lets you choose an available Earth shuttle, placing it in the column beneath your own board without triggering its effect or moving settlers.
The fourth councilor you acquire has particular importance: the last one claimed by each player always grants a powerful bonus. This gives the order of your councilor acquisitions added significance as you decide which abilities and victory points best support your progress.
With its Moon and Council Chamber locations, distinctive councilor abilities, and meaningful final acquisition bonus, Ganymede: Moon adds new choices to every game while keeping attention focused on the timing and value of each councilor.
