About this expansion

Cosmic Encounter: Expansion Set #3 is a 1978 expansion for the Eon Products, Inc. version of Cosmic Encounter, supporting 3–6 players and a 90-minute play time.

This set adds 15 new alien powers to the base game, offering a substantial collection of additional identities for Cosmic Encounter. The powers included are Assassin, Assessor, Aura, Changeling, Demon, Deuce, Doppleganger, Healer, Mesmer, Reincarnator, Schizoid, Silencer, Vacuum, Warrior, and Wrack.

The expansion also includes nine new cards. Its additions include four Attack cards, with Attack 17, Attack 13, Attack 9, and Attack 7 represented in the set, as well as one Compromise card.

The three new Edicts add Rebirth, Timegash, and Victory Boon to the expansion’s card selection. Together, these additions give owners of the Eon edition more alien powers and more cards to use alongside the base game.
