Paperback Adventures: Damsel is a solo or two-player adventure game with an approximately 150-minute play time, released in 2022. Play as the Damsel in an aggressive adventure where distress is never far away—and she is ready to cause it.

The Damsel brings a more aggressive playstyle to the table. Her hex counters deal ramping poison damage, giving her attacks an escalating threat as the adventure unfolds. She can also use every letter in her hand for a critical hit, rewarding carefully timed and fully committed plays.

Timing is central to the Damsel’s approach. Look for key moments to sneak attack enemies, then combine that tactical opening with her poison counters and letter-based critical hits. These features give the character a distinct identity centered on pressure, preparation, and decisive attacks.

Paperback Adventures: Damsel is a character box for the Paperback Adventures system. As long as you have at least one character box, the core box contains everything else needed to play, so the Damsel can be enjoyed as part of that broader setup.

The core box also provides space to store bonus content from each character box, helping you prepare a new game more quickly. It does not store all content from those boxes, so some material remains outside the core box. With its aggressive tools and escalating poison effects, the Damsel offers a focused way to experience Paperback Adventures alone or with a friend.
