Walking in Burano: Mini Expansion 1 – New Inhabitants is a 2019 expansion for 1–4 players, with a play time of 40 minutes. It adds three new types of Inhabitant Cards to the options available in the base game.

This mini expansion contains three additional Inhabitant Card types, with two cards of each type, along with three rule cards. The new cards expand the pool used during setup while preserving the base game’s established setup process.

To use the expansion, add the three new types to the seven types from the base game. This creates a total of ten available types, from which seven are chosen at random. Place the selected cards according to the base game’s Game Setup rules.

New Inhabitants offers a straightforward way to add variety to Walking in Burano. Because seven types are selected from a larger pool of ten, the expansion changes which inhabitant types are included from game to game.

The expansion is available inside the AEG edition box. It is also available as a separate card pack from Board Game Circus in the German version, and it is sold separately by EmperorS4 and Board Game Circus at some events, including Essen Spiel.
