Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai: Moonlight Whispers is an expansion for 1–5 players, released in 2021, that adds asymmetric clans, new abilities, and the mysterious Whisper Islands.

Among the Yokai are legends of beings so unique and powerful that even the Yokai King could neither control nor banish them. These enigmatic creatures are known as the Daiyokai, and their names should never be uttered aloud. They follow their own agendas and are loyal to no one.

The expansion introduces two new asymmetric clans, giving the game’s Yokai factions additional identities and possibilities. The Tanuki and Kappa join the setting alongside two new abilities: Change and Hide.

The Whisper Island Tiles represent this enigmatic island chain. Each tile is governed by two elements, adding a distinctive elemental structure to these locations. When placing Meeples, players must still follow the rule that forbids placing more than one Meeple on each Island Tile during a single turn.

With its independent Daiyokai, asymmetric clans, fresh abilities, and dual-element island tiles, Moonlight Whispers expands the world of Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai with mysterious new forces and places.
