Star Realms: BGG Store Promo Set One

About this expansion

Star Realms: BGG Store Promo Set One is a nine-card addition to the Star Realms deckbuilding game for 1–6 players, with a listed play time of 20 minutes.

This set introduces Challenge cards with new rules for solitaire and cooperative play. It also adds a new card type called Gambits, giving Star Realms players more card types and formats to explore.

The set includes a mix of Gambits, a ship, and two versions of the Pirates of the Dark Star Challenge. Rise to Power is included twice, while the other listed cards appear once.

• Frontier Fleet — Gambit
• Merc Cruiser — Unaligned Ship
• Pirates of the Dark Star — Co-op Challenge
• Pirates of the Dark Star — Solo Challenge
• Political Maneuver — Gambit
• Rise to Power — Gambit, included twice
• Salvage Operation — Gambit
• Surprise Assault — Gambit

With both solo and cooperative Challenge options, Star Realms: BGG Store Promo Set One supports play beyond the standard multiplayer count. Its Gambit cards and additional ship add distinct card categories to the deckbuilding experience while keeping the set focused and compact.

Released in 2014, the set is included along with Promo Set 2 in the Gambit Set. It is a concise collection for players looking to add new Gambits and Pirates of the Dark Star Challenges to Star Realms.
