Faiyum: Privileges

Faiyum: Privileges is a 2023 expansion for Faiyum for 1–5 players, with a play time of 140 minutes. It introduces new privileges that provide one-time and permanent advantages as players do more for the good of Faiyum.

As the first expansion for Faiyum, Privileges adds a distinct layer to the game without placing these new effects among the cards in your hand. Instead, the privileges you gain are kept separate, giving them their own place within your play experience.

The expansion features two kinds of privileges, each offering a different way to influence your turns:

• Permanent effects change or add to the effects of your action cards.
• One-time effects usually provide actions that you can use once in addition during your turns.

This combination lets Privileges offer both ongoing changes and individual opportunities. Permanent effects remain relevant as they alter or supplement action-card effects, while one-time effects can be used when their additional action is valuable.

Faiyum: Privileges is designed for players who want to add these new advantages to their Faiyum experience. With privileges kept separate from the hand and divided between lasting and single-use effects, the expansion focuses on giving players more ways to act for the good of Faiyum.
