Renature: Valley

About this expansion

Renature: Valley is a challenging area-control board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2023, it asks players to transform a polluted valley into an intact ecosystem where animals can move in again.

Plant in adjacent areas to score points while carefully developing the valley. The central twist comes from the sudden appearance of mushrooms, which change how the game is played and make expansion more unpredictable.

A mushroom can connect and enlarge areas, creating new opportunities for territorial growth. It can even allow another player to take over an area, adding an extra layer of challenge as you decide how to expand your own individual areas or join areas already occupied by other players.

Renature: Valley builds its challenge around the interaction between planting, connected areas, and competing claims. As the valley changes, players must take advantage of the mushrooms while working toward a restored ecosystem and valuable adjacent plantings.
