Aqua Garden: Outdoor Expansion

About this expansion

Aqua Garden: Outdoor Expansion is a Kickstarter-exclusive expansion for 2–4 players, released in 2021, that adds an outdoor aquarium and new ways to use aquatic creatures.

Each player receives a unique animal meeple: a whale, orca, dolphin, or sea lion. Every meeple has its own unique ability, giving each player a distinct feature to use alongside a special outdoor tank.

Once per round, a player may choose to place a creature in the outdoor aquarium instead of one of the indoor aquariums. This decision can provide 2 funds or activate special abilities, adding another option to consider when placing creatures.

• A special outdoor aquarium for each player
• One unique animal meeple per player
• Unique abilities for the whale, orca, dolphin, and sea lion meeples
• The option once per round to place a creature outdoors
• A reward of 2 funds or the activation of special abilities
• New advanced Jellyfish pieces

The expansion also introduces Jellyfish, a new type of advanced piece. A Jellyfish counts as a joker fish piece, allowing it to help complete milestones.

With its additional tank, distinctive animal meeples, optional fund rewards, special abilities, and flexible Jellyfish pieces, Aqua Garden: Outdoor Expansion extends the aquarium-building experience with new placement choices and milestone possibilities.
