Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – The Narrows Chronicles is an add-on for the Versus Expansion for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2019, it introduces a four-scenario mini-campaign in which villains take the role usually held by heroes.

Players lead Bane and some of Gotham City’s worst criminals as they attempt to seize control of the city and break its protector, the Dark Knight. The campaign uses the four maps found in the base box or boxes, connecting its scenarios through a continuing story of criminal ambition and uneasy cooperation.

The story begins in an abandoned subway station beneath city hall, where the villains have already allied themselves with the Court of Owls. Their plan is to collapse the building and unleash chaos across Gotham. Yet an alliance built from such dangerous personalities may not remain intact for long.

As the campaign unfolds, the villains must pursue Bane’s plan while facing the possibility of betrayal within their own improbable alliance. Meanwhile, the heroes must stop them before they gain control of the city.

With its villain-led perspective, connected scenarios, and dramatic Gotham City setting, The Narrows Chronicles expands Batman: Gotham City Chronicles with a focused story about criminal alliances, collapsing foundations, and the struggle for control of Gotham.
