About this expansion

Moon: Valkyrie Expansion is a 2023 expansion for Moon that supports 1-5 players. It adds Valkyrie spacecraft, new structure cards, and additional Expedition and Reputation cards to the base game.

Each player receives a Valkyrie token. Once per era, you can place your Valkyrie on the launch board and take a bonus. The earlier you launch, the more choices you have, creating a timing decision before you set off for Earth.

After launching, pay the required resource cost to obtain a new structure card from the special market. New cards become available in each era, giving you fresh ways to develop your base and pursue a powerful combination of opportunities.

The expansion introduces distinctive structures such as:

• Beef Trees
• Rover Factory
• Wormhole

These new structure cards are added to your base, offering more possibilities for maximising your engine and constructing the most popular city on the Moon. The Valkyrie system combines launch timing, bonuses, resource costs, and an era-based market into a focused addition to the lunar development experience.

Moon: Valkyrie Expansion also includes three new Expedition cards and three new Reputation cards for the base game. With its Earth-bound missions and extra technology, it expands the choices available while preserving the central goal of building an impressive lunar city.
