Gùgōng: Bonus Travel Tokens

About this expansion

Gùgōng: Bonus Travel Tokens is a micro expansion for 1–5 players, designed for games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2018, it adds three special Travel Tokens to the travel-token pool.

To use the expansion, mix the Bonus Travel Tokens with the other Travel Tokens. When you claim one, keep it face up in front of you. These tokens can be used in combination with an action or a Gift Card exchange, giving you additional ways to strengthen your plans during the game.

• x2: Double the value of any one Gift Card you play.
• 2x: Get the Bonus or Secondary action of one gift twice. If you perform a secondary action twice, play both actions separately.
• Jade/Decree Discount: Once, reduce the price of a single Jade or Decree by two Servants. If the discount would result in a negative amount, you do not receive a Servant.

After using a Bonus Travel Token, flip it face down and place it on the appropriate space on your Player Board. This makes each token a limited-use opportunity that can be saved until the right action, exchange, or purchase.

Gùgōng: Bonus Travel Tokens was offered as a Brettspiel Adventskalender 2018 promo for Day 9. The micro expansion is also included in the multilingual deluxe edition of Gùgōng, making it a compact addition for players who want these three extra token abilities in their games.
