Star Wars: Armada – Rebellion in the Rim

About this expansion

Star Wars: Armada – Rebellion in the Rim is a campaign expansion for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. It requires the Star Wars: Armada Core Set and lets players take command of the galaxy’s lawless outer regions.

Across a series of fleet battles, players create a custom commander to lead their task force. Rebel and Imperial forces compete for vital allies and resources, while teamwork and the development of each commander’s abilities help determine which side will control the Rim.

Every battle affects control of a location on the campaign map. Winning control can provide critical resources, but the consequences of combat may continue into later games: ships can suffer permanent damage, and heroic crew can be lost.

• A campaign for 2–6 players spanning multiple fleet battles
• Custom commanders with abilities that develop during the campaign
• A campaign map where battles influence location control and resources
• Campaign-based objectives that can change battle rules
• Unequal fleet matchups and unusual elements such as exogorths and gravity rifts
• Eight new squadron cards featuring characters including Sabine Wren, Iden Versio, Lando Calrissian, and IG-88B

The campaign objectives can introduce unexpected conditions during battles, while some scenarios deliberately place fleets of unequal power against each other. These changing circumstances add variety to the struggle for the galaxy’s most distant reaches.

With its connected battles, evolving commanders, strategic resource control, and persistent consequences, Rebellion in the Rim expands Star Wars: Armada into a campaign experience. A copy of the Star Wars: Armada Core Set is required to play.
