Fateforge: Chronicles of Kaan – Kin of the Wild is a 2025 expansion for 1–4 players, bringing animal companions and a new adventure in the frozen lands of Northern Kaan.
Journey to the snow-swept harbor city of Katafygia, where the shaman of a forest clan has been kidnapped and the Kartaçöl Empire’s presence continues to grow. With an invasion of the forest homeland feared, the council sends you to investigate the dark forces gathering in the North.
The expansion introduces Pets: animal companions that fight, explore, and grow alongside you. Each pet is a mini-character with its own Pet board, abilities, action dice, and detailed miniature, giving your adventures an additional tactical dimension.
Kin of the Wild also expands the threats and locations you will encounter. Two new factions bring unpredictable and deadly opposition, while new leader ability decks add further variety to encounters.
