Sword & Sorcery: Abyssal Legends – Tristan Hero Pack adds a powerful new character to campaigns for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2017, this hero pack lets you bring Tristan into your Sword & Sorcery adventures.

Tristan can take on two distinct heroic roles. As a Standard Bearer, he can change the fortunes of a fight with a single action. He brings fear to enemies and hope to allies, takes the lead in battle, and is ready to sacrifice himself to save other heroes.

As a Warlord, Tristan is a master of tactics. His experience helps turn an impending defeat into a brilliant victory, while his harsh voice delivers orders that others are compelled to follow. You can also recruit him as a mercenary to support your Heroes.

• Standard Bearer: Influence the battle, inspire allies, and stand ready to protect other heroes.
• Warlord: Use veteran experience, tactical judgment, and commanding orders.
• Mercenary: Recruit Tristan to assist your Heroes during the campaign.

The contents associated with Tristan vary between editions. The Immortal Souls edition included his Mercenary card, while the Immortal Souls Kickstarter box did not; it was part of the Wave 2 Kickstarter Box. His Astral Halberd Soul Weapon was also in that exclusive Wave 2 Kickstarter Box and was never released again.

The Ancient Chronicles edition included Tristan’s Nemesis and Mercenary materials in the Kickstarter Set rather than the Tristan pack. Only the Abyssal Legends edition includes the Nemesis and Mercenary Quest card with its associated Venture card.
