Sunset Over Water: Nature’s Muse Mini Expansion is a 2018 mini expansion for 1–4 players with a 20-minute play time.

At the start of the game, each player receives one Muse Card. Players may look at their own card, but must keep its information secret until the game ends, creating a hidden objective to consider while building their collection of commission cards.

When the game is over, everyone reveals their Muse Card and counts the total number of matching features on their commission cards. The relevant feature may appear on any commission card, and its symbols do not need to appear together on the card.

• Deal one Muse Card to each player at the start.
• Keep the Muse Card secret during the game.
• Reveal it at the end and count matching features across commission cards.
• The player with the highest total scores 3 renown.
• If players tie for the highest total, each tied player scores 1 renown.

This scoring condition gives the ending of Sunset Over Water: Nature’s Muse Mini Expansion a focused reveal: a private Muse Card becomes a public comparison of matching features. Because matching symbols can be found whether they appear together or apart, players count across their commission cards rather than looking for only one exact arrangement.
