Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – The Fires Within

About this expansion

Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – The Fires Within is a 2018 Dynasty Pack for two players, with games taking around 90 minutes.

As the third Dynasty Pack in the Elemental Cycle, The Fires Within explores the raging element of Fire. Its cards are designed to bring the most explosive element into focus while expanding the possibilities available within the Legend of the Five Rings card game.

The pack contains three copies of each of twenty new cards. These additions give players fresh options to consider when developing their decks and shaping their approach to a two-player game.

• Twenty new cards, with three copies of each
• New Shugenja and Spells centered on Fire
• Additional support for the growing Mantis Clan

New Shugenja expand the presence of spellcasters in the card pool, while new Spells reinforce Fire’s forceful identity. Together, they offer thematic additions for players looking to explore the element’s distinctive character.

The Mantis Clan also continues to grow its ranks, giving this faction further representation in the game. With its combination of Fire-focused cards, magical characters, and Mantis Clan additions, Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – The Fires Within adds another focused chapter to the Elemental Cycle.
