Time of Legends: Joan of Arc – Ars Nova is a 1–3 player add-on featuring a replayable solo or co-operative investigation set in an abbey where a murder has been committed.

At the heart of the set is the Ars Nova scenario. Players use the normal rules alongside additional mini-games that represent the trials required to gather evidence. There is no combat in this scenario, creating a very different experience from a battle-focused game.

The investigation includes a range of components to support its mystery and challenges:

• 1 Suspect sleeve and 8 Suspect cards
• 20 Event cards and 80 Trial cards
• 1 sand timer and 30 tokens

Ars Nova also expands the wider Joan of Arc experience with new content for battle mode and custom scenarios. The set includes 18 monk miniatures in 6 different poses, 4 multi-figure bases, and 6 stat cards. These monkish types can be used both in the scenario and in battle mode games.

Seven unique, double-sided hex tiles give you more options for building the playing area and can be mixed with other tiles. Seven building interior overlays add alternative interiors to existing buildings, changing how some familiar types work. Because a building’s identity may not be known until it is entered, these overlays add exploration and mystery even to a straightforward battle.

With its investigation, trials, new units, and adaptable terrain elements, Time of Legends: Joan of Arc – Ars Nova offers both a distinctive non-combat scenario and additional material for creating varied games.
