Crisis at Steamfall: Genesis is a story-driven expansion for 1–4 players, with games lasting around 180 minutes. Set during the days of Steamfall’s rise, it adds new ways to experience both the cooperative and competitive base game modes.

Each character begins with a single ability that highlights their unique strengths. As the story unfolds, branching quests let you shape your character’s fate, gradually unlocking new abilities while your decisions influence the future of the entire city through an improved event system.

This substantial expansion includes more than 150 cards, featuring a brand-new set of story cards for every original character alongside several new characters. Its expanded content includes items focused on item modification, extraordinary new civilians, and secret locations with powerful effects that can change the course of play.
