Zombicide: Special Guest Box – John Kovalic is a 2015 expansion for 1–12 players with a listed play time of 60 minutes. It includes four survivors from the Dork Tower webcomic, designed by its creator, John Kovalic.

These characters bring gaming culture, comic-book humor, and larger-than-life personalities to the zombie apocalypse. There are no zombivors in this box, so the focus stays on its distinctive survivor lineup.

• Matt: A web cartoonist and Game Master whose experience leading gaming sessions, studying strategy, and surviving on little has prepared him for the hordes.
• Gilly: A fiercely independent perky goth, fangirl, and cosplayer. A veteran of long Comic-Cons, she is ready to face mindless shambling masses with a Glock and a well-timed quip.
• Igor: An enthusiastic fan who tackles the zombie threat with the gusto of a legendary role-playing-game warrior. His arsenal includes bazookas and rocket launchers, and he calls his bazooka “THAC0.”
• Carson: A quiet, fast, and clever muskrat who somehow acquired a fully operational vintage British Bren Carrier. When his friends are threatened, his mild manner gives way to fierce resistance.
