Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – Under Fu Leng’s Shadow

About this expansion

Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – Under Fu Leng’s Shadow is a premium expansion for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2021, it adds 271 new cards and two brand-new ways to play.

The Shadowlands are no longer a disorganized threat. Goblins, undead, lost samurai, and hideous monsters now march under a single vicious ruler, as a monstrous oni leads the assault against Rokugan and the Great Carpenter Wall.

Almost half of the expansion’s cards are dedicated to the new Shadowlands faction. Face this overwhelming enemy in cooperative play, either alone or alongside friends, as you attempt to defeat a powerful Shadowlands warlord.

• Cooperative variant: Play solo or team up with friends against a mighty Shadowlands warlord.
• Challenge variant: One player commands the Shadowlands against two to four other players.
• Additional content: Use the expansion’s clan cards in stronghold or skirmish games.

Whether you stand together against the rising darkness or take control of the hordes yourself, the expansion offers a dramatic new conflict for fans of the card game. Its new faction, substantial card pool, and flexible player configurations make Under Fu Leng’s Shadow a major addition to Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game.
