Yomi EX Powerup

About this expansion

Yomi EX Powerup is a 2014 expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 20 minutes. It upgrades all twenty character decks from the second edition of Yomi with an EX version.

The expansion adds four copies of an extra rank of face cards, called Destiny cards, to each of the twenty characters. It also contains a new gold character card, giving the set another distinctive addition for Yomi players.

• Four Destiny cards for each second-edition character
• One new gold character card
• A premium knockdown token
• An oversized Deathstrike Dragon character card

The oversized Deathstrike Dragon card allows Deathstrike Dragon to play against two other players in a 2v1 match. This gives the expansion a specific multiplayer option alongside its broader collection of upgraded character decks.

Yomi EX Powerup is designed for players who want to use the EX version of every second-edition character. These EX characters are explicitly overpowered, are not tournament-legal, and are not balanced, making the expansion distinct from standard competitive play.

The presentation also receives an upgrade. The box has a sleeve containing product information that can be removed, leaving a display-worthy box for storage or presentation. With its full set of Destiny cards and additional character components, this expansion powers up the entire second-edition Yomi lineup.
