Arkeis: Thus the Sphinx Cometh

About this expansion

Arkeis: Thus the Sphinx Cometh is a 2023 board game scenario for 1–5 players, integrated directly into the campaign. It introduces the Sphinx in a brand-new scenario and places its appearance in a context unlike anything seen before.

Like the other scenarios, this addition comes in its own crate box. The box brings together a substantial collection of scenario-specific content, giving players new cards and tokens to use as they explore this unusual campaign chapter.

The scenario includes 39 expedition cards, providing the central card content for this new experience. It also adds five new adversary cards for the Sphinx, expanding the material associated with this distinctive appearance.

• 39 expedition cards
• 5 new adversary cards for the Sphinx
• 6 special door tokens
• Zone markers

Special door tokens and zone markers round out the contents of the crate box. Together, these components make Arkeis: Thus the Sphinx Cometh a focused new scenario for players continuing the campaign.

Designed for groups ranging from one to five players, this 2023 release offers a new way to encounter the Sphinx within the campaign. Its defining feature is the setting: a previously unseen context for the Sphinx, supported by dedicated expedition cards, adversary cards, doors, and markers.
