About this expansion

Heroes of Normandie: Gazette #1 is a two-player quarterly gazette for a 60-minute game session, released in 2015. As the first issue in the series, it adds new scenarios, rules, punchboards, units, surprises, and other items.

This issue includes four pages of text dedicated to special rules for mines and minesweeping items. These rules provide the foundation for scenarios focused on explosives and mine-clearing activities.

The gazette contains three scenarios in total. Two are titled Explosives, while the third is titled Mines and Minesweepers. Together, they form the central scenario content of this issue.

The included punchboard adds four cannons to the gazette’s new components. It features one GE cannon, two US cannons, and one UK cannon, providing a concise set of additional items alongside the scenario and rules material.

The scenarios in Heroes of Normandie: Gazette #1 require both the D-Day and UK Army Box expansions. Those expansions are therefore necessary for using the scenarios included in this issue.
