The Order of Vampire Hunters: The Night is Darker Expansion expands the vampire-hunting adventure for 5–6 players. Released in 2017, it introduces new Hunters, additional Vampire miniatures, map tiles, cards, tokens, and six new Hunts.

The story follows a series of mysterious attacks on emergency medical facilities created to fight a rapidly spreading outbreak. As the contagion spreads, the Order of Vampire Hunters sends larger teams to confront infestations filled with hordes of monsters.

Two new Hunters, Sebastian and Benny, join the Order. The expansion also adds Desmodus Vampires, along with more Thralls, Warriors, and Upyrs. Cards for spawning extra Vampires each turn bring even more monsters into the unfolding scenarios.

With its new characters, enemy miniatures, spawning cards, and scenario content, The Night is Darker gives larger groups more of the investigation and monster-hunting action found in The Order of Vampire Hunters.
