About this board game

5-Minute Dungeon: Big Box is a chaotic, cooperative real-time card game for 2–6 players with a listed play time of 30 minutes. Players have only five minutes to escape each randomized dungeon, making fast communication and teamwork essential.

Each player takes the role of one of ten heroes, each with special cards and abilities. Once the timer starts, the party races through the dungeon, defeating monsters by matching symbols from their hands with the symbols on the monsters’ cards. There is no time for a carefully considered plan, and the dangers ahead cannot be predicted.

Every dungeon ends with a powerful boss. After defeating the first boss, the campaign continues to a second, with each boss and randomized dungeon becoming harder until the party reaches the fifth and final boss.

Curses! Foiled Again! adds Boss Cards to the Dungeon, along with the Druid and Shaman heroes and powerful Artifacts that can be activated once per dungeon. The expansion also supports games with up to six players and challenges the party in its quest to defeat the Dungeon Master.

The Big Box bundles several Kickstarter-only exclusives in a limited-edition, Curses-themed 10.5-inch by 10.5-inch box. The Kickstarter booster includes two new bosses and a deck containing 25 new cards: 15 Doors and 10 Challenge Cards. It does not include the Baby Barbarian Figurine with blood in the sword.
