About this board game

7 Steps is a board game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Released in 2014, it centers every part of play around the number seven: seven fields, seven colors, and seven discs available to each player in every round.

The fields develop through blocking columns. As columns are blocked, the fields rise step by step, reaching a maximum height of seven discs. This creates a changing layout in which the level of a column matters as much as the decision of where to place a disc.

Whenever you place a new disc, it scores points for you according to the level at which it is placed in the column. Carefully choosing a position can therefore turn the growing height of the fields into a valuable scoring opportunity.
