About this board game

80 Days is a 2022 board game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 75 minutes, in which you race around the world and try to complete your journey back in London.

Inspired by Mr. Phileas Fogg’s famous trip, the game challenges you to attempt an even harder journey. Gather your luggage and money, set off on an exciting global adventure, and fill your travel diary with experiences that can help demonstrate who the toughest traveller is.

On your turn, choose one action. You can move forward, buy an item, or take a special action. You may also write a page in your travel diary, giving you necessary victory points as you work toward your overall goal.

The cost of actions increases gradually as players choose them more often, creating a changing set of priorities throughout the game. After each period, the costs reset, giving everyone a fresh opportunity to plan their next steps.

There are five periods in total, so every decision contributes to a limited journey. By the end of the fifth period, you had better be back in London. With its world-travel theme, escalating action costs, and diary-based victory points, 80 Days turns a famous wager into a competitive challenge of movement, spending, and timing.
