A Game of Thrones: The Card Game – Queen of Dragons is a 2011 expansion for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 60 minutes. It adds new deck-building possibilities and strategic depth to the A Game of Thrones: The Card Game card pool.

There is a fire in the East beneath the three-headed dragon banner of House Targaryen. Queen of Dragons focuses on the lost queen’s return and strengthens the distinctive themes already associated with her House.

The expansion contains 165 new cards: three copies each of 55 unique cards. Its additions boost the Dothraki and Dragon traits while enhancing House Targaryen’s strengths in strength reduction, known as burn, and recursion.

The included decklists were created with help from 2009 Melee World Champion Jonathan Benton and other dedicated AGoT fans. They provide starting points for exploring House Targaryen’s different strengths, while also giving new players an introduction to the art of customizing a deck.

Both suggested decks can be built using only one A Game of Thrones Core Set and one copy of Queen of Dragons. Whether you want to deepen a Targaryen-focused collection or discover new ways to shape a deck, this expansion adds a substantial set of cards and options to the LCG.

In Queen of Dragons, the banners, traits, agendas, and signature mechanics of House Targaryen receive a focused boost, expanding the strategic possibilities available across the game.
