About this board game

Aftermath is an Adventure Book Game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. Set in a world where humans have mysteriously vanished, it follows small critters struggling to survive and thrive as nature reclaims the remnants of civilization.

You play as a misfit band of colony “providers,” leaving the safety of home to search the abandoned world for food, supplies, and information. The group includes a guinea pig with anger issues, a fast-talking hamster who drives faster, a keen-eyed mouse with something to prove, and a mysterious, borderline-feral vole. Each character has a distinct personality, play-style, and personal goal.

Venture beyond the colony through 20+ story-driven missions and side missions. Explore the ruins of mankind and face a world filled with bandits and predators. When danger finds you, decide whether to fight or flee to stay alive and return with what your community needs.
