About this board game

Ahoy is a lightly asymmetrical board game for 2–4 players that takes about 75 minutes, casting players as swashbucklers and soldiers competing for Fame on the high seas.

Each faction brings a distinct role to the colorful setting. One player commands the Bluefin Squadron, a company of sharks and their toothy friends who patrol the waters and maintain order with shot and sword. Another leads the Mollusk Union, an alliance of undersea creatures and their comrades-in-arms fighting to reclaim their ancestral home.

• Smugglers: in games with more players, maverick captains run blockades and deliver luxuries and essentials to those with the most need—or the most coin.

Exploration helps make every game feel distinct. As you play, you create a unique map filled with treasure troves, dangerous wreckage, and powerful sea currents, using deluxe double-layer region tiles.
