About this board game
Animal Upon Animal is a 2–4-player stacking game that takes about 15 minutes to play. Designed for ages 4–99, it challenges players to build a tall pyramid from 29 cute wooden animals while keeping the structure steady.
Players take turns rolling the die and following its result. Depending on the roll, you may place one or two animals onto the growing stack, give one of your animals to another player to place, or put an animal on the table to extend the base for future building.
- Careful stacking: Position animals such as the penguin, crocodile, sheep, serpent, or hedgehog without toppling the pyramid.
- Changing challenges: The die determines how each turn affects the animal stack and your supply.
- Simple objective: Use all of your animals before the other players do.
If pieces fall while you are building, you get up to two of them back, adding a memorable push-your-luck element to every placement. The pyramid can become increasingly difficult to manage as players continue adding animals and extending its base.
