About this expansion

Arcadia Quest: Poison Dragon is an expansion for 2–4 players that extends an Arcadia Quest or Arcadia Quest Inferno campaign into a 120-minute epic encounter.

It all begins with an unbearable smell spreading through the city. Something has gone off, and the stench grows worse until Rotwailer, the deadly Poison Dragon, makes her dramatic entrance at the gates of Arcadia.

With the city’s future at stake, its Heroes must set aside their rivalries—or at least focus them on the threat ahead. This expansion presents a campaign conclusion centered on a dangerous monster and the struggle to stop her before Arcadia’s prospects become even less appealing.

• Shifts the Heroes from competition to cooperation

In the first scenario, the Heroes compete to bring down the dragon. Their opposing goals put the city’s champions against one another even as they face a common enemy, creating a tense opening to the encounter.

The second scenario changes the challenge completely. The Heroes must cooperate to ultimately defeat Rotwailer, turning their attention from rivalry to a united battle against the vile monster.

Released in 2017, Arcadia Quest: Poison Dragon is designed as a memorable addition to an ongoing campaign. Its two-part structure delivers a clear dramatic arc: confront the Poison Dragon through competition first, then join forces for the final fight to determine Arcadia’s future.
