About this expansion

Arctic Scavengers: Recon is an expansion for 1–5 players with a playing time of about 60 minutes, set in a post-apocalyptic ice age where rival tribes struggle to survive and dominate.

As the tribes evolve, information becomes the most valuable currency. In the new world mapped out by Recon, deception reigns, creating a growing need for reconnaissance as competing tribes attempt to gain an advantage over one another.

This expansion adds fresh roles, resources, and ways to affect the opposing tribes. Its new content includes:

• New tribe leader roles
• New mercenaries
• New equipment
• New levels of player interaction

These additions introduce new ways to make opponents feel pain while expanding the conflict between the tribes. Recon builds on the struggle established in Arctic Scavengers and connects with the headquarters developed through the HQ expansion included with the base game from Rio Grande Games.

Arctic Scavengers: Recon also includes a plastic insert designed to organize the cards from the base game and HQ expansion. The insert supports easier setup, helping keep the growing card collection arranged and ready for play.

With its focus on reconnaissance, deception, and heightened interaction, Recon offers a broader version of the frozen tribal struggle for players seeking new roles, equipment, and ways to challenge their rivals.
