Arkham Horror: The Card Game – The Drowned City: Campaign Expansion is a 1–4-player campaign expansion with an approximately 180-minute play time, released in 2025.

What begins as one last job soon becomes an expedition into the unknown. At the request of the shadowy antiquarian Randall Tillinghast, investigators travel to the South Pacific, where a vast and alien city awaits beneath the waves.

The destination is R’lyeh, a place of ancient mystery and escalating terror. As the investigators explore its strange reaches, they uncover horrors that deepen their sense of dread and transform a seemingly straightforward assignment into a threat of unimaginable scale.

The fate of more than the expedition hangs in the balance. The growing danger reaches all the way back to Arkham, placing the city in peril as a colossal power stirs.

At the heart of this campaign stands one of the most momentous events in the setting: Cthulhu has awakened. The investigators must face the consequences of this awakening as the world they know begins to change.
