Assault: Sicily ’43 – Gela Beachhead is a tactical-level wargame for 2–4 players, with play time ranging from 1 to more than 3 hours depending on the scenario. Released in 2025, it places players in the fighting around the Gela Beachhead during the Allied invasion of Sicily.

Set on 10 July 1943, the game follows the landing of US Rangers at Gela and the operations of British and Canadian forces farther east. American and British airborne troops have already been dropped behind the planned landing zones, seeking to occupy important positions and prevent or delay Italian and German counterattacks.

Players lead historical units from the American, Italian, and German forces as they fight for southwestern Sicily. The operation, known as Husky, opened another front against the Axis and marked the beginning of the end of the Italian army as an ally of the German Wehrmacht.

Assault: Sicily ’43 – Gela Beachhead is the second volume in a planned series of tactical-level wargames covering the landing and airborne operations around Gela in July 1943. It can also be combined with the Eastern Front module Assault Red Horizon 41.
