Astro Knights

About this board game

Astro Knights is a cooperative deck-building game for 1-4 players, with play lasting about 45 minutes. Each player works with the team to defeat a dangerous Boss before it destroys the group or the Homeworld being defended.

Unlike many deck-building games, your deck is never shuffled. This distinctive system makes every card and decision matter as you plan how to use your available resources, weapons, and abilities over the course of the battle.

Each round, the players and the Boss take turns in a random order. During a player’s turn, there are several ways to strengthen the team and prepare for the fight:

• Acquire Fuel, Tech, and Weapons from the supply.
• Equip and attack with Weapons according to the number of available slots.
• Gain new slots to expand your weapon capacity.
• Power up and use your special ability.

The Boss is more than a single challenge. All four Bosses included in Astro Knights have their own decks and abilities, so each encounter presents a different threat and calls for a different strategy. The random turn order keeps the round’s sequence uncertain as the team responds to the Boss and looks for the right moment to strike.

Coordinate your actions, manage the cards in your unshuffled deck, and make the most of your equipment before the Homeworld falls. With cooperative planning, varied Boss encounters, and a focused battle objective, Astro Knights offers a tense team challenge in a compact format.
