About this board game

Attack of the Jelly Monster is a chaotic tactical party game for 3–5 players that takes about 25 minutes to play. As a jelly monster invades the city, each squad races to collect as much alien matter as possible before the army destroys the wobbly invader.

Your squad has seven dice to deploy across the city’s districts. In each district, only the player with the majority—the highest total dice value—receives its reward, so every placement can affect the competition.

Turns move quickly, but careful choices matter. Roll your dice, place one and only one die, then re-roll the dice you have not yet placed before choosing your next position. Alongside their values, the dice also have effects that can be applied immediately, giving you another way to influence the city.

• Roll seven dice and place them across city districts.
• Compete for majorities based on total dice value.

• Play simultaneously against every other squad.

Because all squads act at the same time, speed is only part of the challenge. Playing too quickly could let a competitor steal a district, while waiting too long may cost you a valuable opportunity. Watch the other players, assess their positions, and decide when to commit.
