About this board game

Back to the Future: Back in Time is a fully cooperative board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 50 minutes. Set in 1955 Hill Valley, it challenges players to repair the DeLorean, defeat Biff Tannen and his gang, help George and Lorraine fall in love, and return to the future.

Each player takes on the role of a major character from the movie: Marty McFly, Doc Brown, Jennifer Parker, or Einstein the dog. Working together, the characters move around Hill Valley and collect the items needed to get Doc’s famous time machine ready.

The photo of the McFly family is slowly fading, and the time paradox is growing more dangerous. Players must avoid Biff and his trouble-making friends while ensuring that Marty’s parents fall in love. Every objective is essential to setting history right.

• Move through 1955 Hill Valley as a famous character from the film.
• Collect items and prepare the DeLorean time machine.
• Avoid Biff Tannen and his gang.
• Help George and Lorraine fall in love.

Only after these tasks are accomplished can the DeLorean accelerate to 88 MPH down Main Street. Then, players must be ready for the lightning to strike the Clock Tower at exactly 10:04 pm, sending them back to the future.

With its shared objective and iconic Hill Valley setting, Back to the Future: Back in Time brings the movie’s central time-travel dilemma to the tabletop in a cooperative race against the clock.
