About this board game

Bananagrams WildTiles is a Scrabble-like word game for 1–8 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. With no board and no letter values, each player independently builds their own crossword using letter tiles.

In the English edition, the game includes a selection of 144 plastic letter tiles. Players arrange the letters they have into a personal crossword, working to use every tile in their hand.

Whenever a player uses all of their available letters, all players take a new tile from the pool. This keeps the crossword-building challenge moving as players continue developing their individual layouts.

When the tile pool is empty, the race reaches its conclusion. The first player to use all the tiles in their hand wins, making the final stage a contest to complete each personal crossword and clear the remaining letters.

This Target-exclusive version adds six wild monkey tiles. A wild tile can be used as any letter and switched up, giving players an additional flexible option while they shape their crossword.

Bananagrams WildTiles also includes variants in its rules and is suitable for solo play. Whether played alone or with a group, it offers a compact word-building experience centered on arranging letters, drawing from the shared pool, and being the first to use every tile.
