Battlecrest: Metronn Base Game is a card-based tactical skirmish game for 2 players that plays in around 20 minutes. Legendary heroes clash across the Neververse, maneuvering through a dangerous city while seeking the perfect moment to outwit their opponent.

Every battle uses perfect information, putting the focus on planning, positioning, and tactical decisions. The map is built from six Landmark cards, randomly placed in a set pattern to create a dynamic battlefield filled with neon color, alien architecture, labyrinthine alleys, and dangerous streets.

Each character is represented by a six-card set containing a hero card, a health tracker, and action cards. Some characters also use a minion or item in place of an action card. As action cards are played, they open new possibilities and empower the character’s battlecrests. Build toward a decisive strike, or refocus to recover powers and change your approach.

Kaladeos is a master header whose healing skills help him survive a grievous wound and the dark magic surrounding it. His Wraithlock lets him enhance his body while risking transformation into a wraith. Exa, a reprogrammed sentry-bot turned mercenary, fights alongside her pet turret Sparkles, leaving devastation in her wake.

Contained in two little wallets and totaling just 18 cards, the base game needs no additional components to play. Battlecrest: Metronn Base Game is also compatible with other Battlecrest products, including the Fellwoods Base Game, the Imperator Solo Expansion, and team play rules.
