About this expansion

BattleLore: Second Edition – Heralds of Dreadfall Army Pack is a two-player expansion for BattleLore Second Edition, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes and a 2015 release. It expands the Undead faction with new units, tactical tools, scenarios, and terrain for battles against the living.

Death Knights, disembodied Wraiths, and a flying Barrow Wyrm join the Reanimates and Skeleton Archers. Together, these five Undead units give commanders everything needed to field a terrifying army, supported by two army cards that suggest complete fifty-point forces.

The expansion introduces a Plagueland hex and the new Blight mechanic, allowing the Undead to weaken their enemies. A complete twenty-card lore deck adds cunning tactical options focused on the Heralds of Dreadfall units.

Beyond the suggested armies, commanders can use the included army cards as a starting point for inventing forces designed around their own strengths. The four terrain tiles and six scenarios transform the battlefield, adding variety to the conflicts.

Heralds of Dreadfall can also be combined with the units from Terrors of the Mists to create even larger and more imaginative Undead armies. With thirty-seven sculpted plastic figures and the tools to deploy them, this Army Pack brings a full wave of supernatural forces to BattleLore Second Edition.
